Aidodo's wedding cakes were founded in Shanghai in 2008 and are affiliated with Shanghai Aidodo Industrial Co., Ltd. The brand is dedicated to the independent design and sales of wedding gift products for events such as marriage, birth, promotion of success, moving house, and birthday celebrations. It particularly focuses on the inheritance and promotion of traditional Chinese wedding cake culture in the new era, always leading the development of the entire industry in terms of product concepts and appearance design. Aidodo has always played a core role in the revival and renaissance of traditional Chinese wedding cake culture. Today, Aidodo's products cover various usage scenarios such as birth gifts, wedding gifts, and moving house gifts.
This project is the most expensive series among all Aidodo's products, aiming to design a wedding cake gift box that can present the luxurious Chinese wedding atmosphere. The design team conducted in-depth research on ancient wedding utensils and ultimately drew inspiration from the concept of "makeup cases" in ancient women's dowries, which carried precious items. This was used as the structural prototype of the gift box - the makeup case itself is a "mirror box for storing grooming supplies", symbolizing preservation and inheritance, which is highly consistent with the essence of wedding gifts carrying blessings. In terms of visual expression, the team used the theme of "dragon and phoenix presenting auspiciousness" and incorporated hand-drawn lines of dragons and phoenixes, with a red and gold color scheme, which not only echoed the joyfulness and luxury of Chinese weddings but also endowed traditional symbols with new vitality through modern design language. The gift box is neatly arranged with wedding cakes and candies inside, balancing visual appeal and eating experience, making each gift a worthy piece of wedding memory.
